Environmental impact blah yada, but really I suspect it’s just fear of the unknown / loss of the known.  

Anytime a platform announces a radical change (newsfeed, a phone without buttons, etc), a large segment of pragmatist users will protest.

I think I don’t fully understand why users have backlash to crypto integration. That’s a social phenomena I’m still newly exploring. I would’ve thought most people were cool with it.
